This turned out pretty good, but something went wrong in the process. I hit my intended pre-boil gravity with a bit high pre-boil volume. But then somehow ended up very low original gravity after boiling while hitting my intended volume there. Maybe I misread the pre-boil gravity. I saw that the volume was going to be high, so I turned up the heat to boil harder and went a bit longer than 60 minutes.

The final gravity here is also low, but that could be due to the low original gravity. The result was roughly correct ABV but lighter bodied than intended.

I suspect recent issues are due to changing things up a bit to target 5.5 gallons into the fermenter rather than 5.25 to account for beer below the racking can in the new conical setup and more accurately accounting for how much I think is really left in the boil kettle in the end. With just slightly high gravity batches the different water:grain ratio may be throwing things off and I need to be prepared to properly sparge.
